Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete (GFRC) is a composite material made of cement, fine aggregates, and alkali-resistant glass fibers. Unlike traditional concrete, GFRC is lighter and significantly stronger in tension and flexural strength, making it ideal for thin, durable flooring and architectural surfaces.

Steel Fiber Reinforced Concrete (SFRC) is a type of concrete that incorporates short discrete steel fibers into the mix to improve its toughness, ductility, durability, and crack resistance.

Rather than relying solely on rebar or wire mesh, SFRC integrates randomly distributed fibers throughout the concrete matrix, giving it improved post-crack strength and better load-carrying capacity—especially in tension zones.

Steel fibers are short steel reinforcements, typically:

• Length: 25 mm to 60 mm

• Diameter: ~0.5–1 mm

• Aspect Ratio (L/D): 40–100
